Response to Daily Prompt: 21st Century Citizen

Do you belong in this day and age? Do you feel comfortable being a citizen of the 21st-century? If you do, explain why — and if you don’t, when in human history would you rather be?

If we’re talking about socialism and other people my age, I do not fit in–I am a person who does different things than the average person my age, and I am glad I do.

However, I am comfortable being here. I guess you could say, if we are simply talking about technology use and modern devices and tools, then, yes, I would say I fit in. I enjoy simple things from our day and age, like computers and phones, and the ability to send a message at the click or tap of a few buttons still leaves me awed.

  1. I like to think I feel comfortable in any age. The age of the internet and mobile phones is quite useful to me, saying that, I got along okay before their invention.
